Stellenangebot: Teacher of English (and a second subject) in the Secondary School (m / f / d)
We are looking for a qualified and committed English-speaking teacher for our bilingual school, to teach English | English as a Second Language and one additional subject. Of particular interest are additional teaching qualifications in Mathematics, Science, Art or Physical Education. Knowledge of the IGCSE curriculum is an advantage.
You have
- a teaching qualification for English or English as a second language at Secondary School level and relevant teaching experience
- a teaching qualification in another subject (e.g. Mathematics, Sciences, Art or Physical Education)
- experience with linguistically heterogeneous learning groups
- English language skills at native-speaker level
- good knowledge of German or willingness to learn the language
- strong IT skills for effective use of our modern learning environment
- personal qualities that motivate and inspire the students
- open-mindedness, flexibility and the ability to work well in a team
- a high level of commitment
Your area of responsibility
- teaching English and one other subject in the Secondary School
- structured planning and design of lessons
- focusing on student learning and development, differentiating and supporting as required in order to help students to reach their potential
- cooperating with other members of the departments and participating actively in conferences
- communicating with parents and guardians
