For our bilingual Elementary School, we are looking for a dedicated full-time pedagogical assistant.
Pedagogical Assistant (m | f | d)
Your responsibilities
- play lessons – Independent supervision and guidance of students in the Primary Class
- library lessons ¡V preparation of library activities, supervision and guidance of children in borrowing age-appropriate books, active promotion of reading behaviour, administrative tasks in the library
- language support – designed in consultation with the English teachers
- student support – assisting the teacher in Primary class and Grade 1
- educational afternoon activities – supervising Elementary School children during their homework or during structured play
- break time supervision
- holiday care (all-day care) or holiday camps
The ideal candidate
- is able to instruct and supervise children of Elementary School or Kindergarten age
- is creative and possesses excellent planning skills
- has a motivating and inspiring effect on students
- is able and committed to supporting bilingual students
- is a team player and possesses the flexibility and open-mindedness required for working in an international school setting
- speaks English at mother tongue level
- has a good knowledge of German
